Ms. Chidinma Okebalama formerly known as ChiDynma D’Voice is back stronger and better with a new name to match “CHEE”. After the release of the music video to her single Obimmo in 2011, the singer decided to take a hiatus from the music scene to regroup and wait for the perfect moment for a return.

Nevertheless she couldn’t stay too far away from the stage and limelight as she continued to grace the stage at many high profile events and weddings including The CAF Awards 2011 – 2013, Eko Atlantic Milestone Celebration which saw her perform in the presence of former President Clinton, and most recently, the Mid term dinner for President Goodluck Jonathan’s Transformation Team June 2013. It is based off stellar performances on such national and international stages that Telecoms giant Globacom Limited deemed her as a worthy ambassador in May 2013.
With months of tireless work in the studio Chee is now more than ever ready to go. She will be officially announcing her return to the mainstream music scene with a new single aptly titled “A Nom Ebea” an Igbo phrase, which translates to “I Am Here”. The single is scheduled for release on Tuesday, July 8th 2013. The single Produced by LeriQ will be released under her own imprint, Republic of Chee. Its safe to say Ms Chidinma Okebalama has finally found her “Chee”
