At the domestic wings of the Lagos airport, hundreds of intending passengers going to Abuja, Port Harcourt and other cities in the country were forced to postpone their journey following the tragic crash.

Airlines officials at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Terminal, Two; and Terminal One (old domestic wing said some of the intending passengers cancelled their tickets shortly after hearing the news on arrival at the airport.

Others, they said, simply refused to show up at the check-in counters for their flights.

An Aerocontractor Airlines official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not allowed to speak on the matter said, “We were surprised how most of our passengers came to the counters to inform us that they had postponed their trips. When we asked them, they said because of the crash involving Agagu’s corpse.”

“Apart from those who came to the airport, we also noticed that majority of our passengers did not even turn up for the flights.”
