A few months after he emerged the first male winner of the
Etisalat-Nigeria-sponsored Nigerian Idol Season 3, Moses Obi-Adigwe is
set to release the first set of his singles.
He disclosed this during a visit to the headquarters of telecommunications company, Etisalat Nigeria, for the first exclusive listening session for his new songs.
Speaking while receiving Moses and his entourage which included the Managing Director of Optima Media Group (OMG), Mr. Rotimi Pedro, the Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat Nigeria, Steven Evans, said it was reassuring to see that Moses was still as passionate as he was during the show. “We are very pleased that Moses has that innovative, creative, daring and dynamic spirit which is very important to us as a company. He has not disappointed us and it is great to see that he has been working hard even after the show,” he said.
The two songs, ‘Love Letter’ (featuring Eva) and ‘Beautiful’, had been written by Moses with his signature afrocentric and soulful touch. “These are very outstanding works coming from Moses! Congratulations. We believe these songs will do very well. We’re very committed and emotionally attached to the Nigerian Idol. It is something we want to turn into a long-term relationship, because it is a genuine partnership.” said Evans.
Meanwhile, Moses has described his new singles as a blend of old school swing, with an infusion of the guitar and talking drums.
