In an intimate chat last night, Nigerian rep Beverly Osu told her South African lover, Angelo, that she's in love with him. Read her words below:

"I try to deny that I love you because I’m thinking it’s too early to love you when I don’t know how you are in the outside world,” Beverly said to Angelo

Angelo replied: "To be honest, I’m also kind of scared of knowing you on the outside”

Beverly to Angelo - after telling him she's told him everything there is to know about her, including how she used to sleep with men for money to help her family and how she once had an abortion now asked:

"Can you marry a person like me?” 

Angelo replied "Yes, but would you marry someone like me?” Beverly said yes, that she loves him.

Police, hoodlums accused of killing undergraduate, friend in Badagry

Policemen attached to the Badagry Police Division, Lagos State, and some hoodlums have been accused of killing a 25-year-old undergraduate of Delta State University, Ifechukwude Nwainokpor, and his friend, identified simply as Kazeem.

An eight-minute video clip of the gruesome killing, which was made available to PUNCH Metro, showed the two victims handcuffed together. They were covered in their own blood and beaten to death with sticks. Tyres were also put round   their necks.

Sad! Lagos housewife pierces this lady's heart with knife

Saturday, June 22, 2013, will for a long time remain indelible in the memory of Godwin Olah, 37, following an incident that claimed the life of his 28-year-old wife, Stella, during a row with a neighbour identified as Stella Omoigiafo Gilbert (31).

The suspect, a mother of one, allegedly pierced the heart of the deceased, a mother of three aged between six and three, with a knife during a scuffle in their compound.

The grieving husband of the deceased who hails from Obudu local Government Area of Cross River State told Crime Alert at their home located at 59, Ojora Street, Ajegunle, Lagos, that the suspect also inflicted severe injuries on his wife’s hand before piercing her heart resulting to her death. Amidst tears, he narrated his ordeal since the untimely death of his wife.

Nigerian international striker Michael Eneramo signs €1.2m deal with Besiktas

Nigerian international striker Michael Eneramo has signed a two year deal with Turkish side, Besiktas and will earn €1.2 million (which is over N
255million) per year. He will also earn €10,000 per-match bonus.

The Turkish football club yesterday released a statement which read;

“Michael Eneramo has agreed terms with Beşiktaş. Eneramo will earn €1.2 million per-season in addition to a €10,000 per-match bonus. In addition to this, Eneramo will earn the same salary in 2014-15 and 2015-16 if selected for the squad over 30 times over the course of each season.”

The 27-year-old striker played for Turkish side Sivasspor for a year and a half before joining Besiktas.

Video: Ghanian actress Emelia Brobbey denies shoplifting reports plus eyewitness threatens to leak Emelia’s theft video

Recently, Ghanaian actress Emelia Brobbey was alleged to have stolen a bracelet at a shop - Piercings - while on vacation in London and was also reported to have been arrested by the Police.
The actress who returned to Ghana yesterday debunked the claim; according to her, five months ago, she went to the UK to deliver and after the delivery, she went to shop with her baby in a pram.
She narrated that as she left the shop, shop security approached her that their detectors had detected that she might have not paid for an item in her pram.
A bracelet, Emelia Brobbey added, was found in her possession and she was asked if she was ready to pay for the item and she indicated her preparedness to do so.

She noted that, after an interaction with the security personnel, who took her address, she was allowed to go only to receive a visit from the police days after.
